For the first time, the Concorde Hotel Singapore has decided to celebrate the spectacular journey of Ramadan. Recently Halal Certified for banquets and catering, we are excited to welcome both Muslims and non Muslims to join us!
Throughout the Ramadan period, the Poolside on Level 4 will host an extensive Buka Puasa spread, laden with classics including the all essential Kurma (Dates). We will also be setting aside a Mussollah (prayer room) for those who wish to solat (pray) before dining.
Our Buka Puasa buffet will be authentically prepared by our experienced team of Muslim Chefs lead by Sous Chefs Nandang Suryana and Ishak Imammoidin.
Award-Winning Chef Nandang has previously flexed his skills at the Alkaff Mansion in , the renowned Tepak Sireh restaurant on Arab Street and other esteemed establishments in before being invited to head the Muslim kitchen at the Concorde Hotel Singapore. Chef Ishak comes from a family of culinary talents and has previously worked in 2 local luxury hotels. He has even had the honour of preparing Buka Puasa meals for the Brunei Royal Family on a number of occasions in the 1990s. Both chefs also have a wealth of experience participating in previous Singapore Food Festivals.
